BEDFORD – On Monday, April 10, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Lawrence County Officers Brenten Trueblood and Kinsley Duncan conducted a traffic stop along State Road 37, near Patrick Robbins Way.
During the stop, indicators of criminal activity were observed. Lawrence County Captain Andrew Phillips arrived and deployed his canine, Scout, who gave a positive alert of possible drugs in the vehicle.
A subsequent search revealed that a male passenger, Jeremy Blackburn, 43, of Mitchell, was in possession of approximately two grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and multiple glass smoking pipes with methamphetamine residue.
Blackburn was arrested on charges of possession of meth, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
