VALPARAISO – The Regional Development Company (RDC), headquartered in Valparaiso, IN and with a location in Matteson, IL, is a non-profit organization and Certified Development Company (CDC) that administers the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 504 Loan Program for small business growth.
The company announced the hiring of Aaron Allshouse as Portfolio Manager. He has a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University in Human Resources. Aaron comes to the RDC with four years of experience in credit underwriting and portfolio management in the private sector. His underwriting experience included large corporate requests as well as US SBA 504 and lending for the banks. Aaron also served two years on the RDC’s Independent Loan Review Committee, a volunteer group of community leaders who audit the company’s loan files.
“We’re excited to bring Aaron onto the RDC team,” said Erica Dombey, President. “He brings a strong background of bank credit analysis and will quickly learn the requirements of SBA lending, given his prior exposure to the program.”
Aaron will be managing the loan portfolio for the RDC; gathering financial, insurance, and property tax information, performing annual credit reviews of all loans, performing site visits, and managing all servicing requests including subordinations, collateral substitutions and releases, payment deferments and assumptions.
