BLOOMINGTON – Bedford North Lawrence’s girls track season came to a close during the IHSAA regional at Bloomington North on Tuesday.
The Stars failed to advance any individuals to the state finals. The top three in each event qualified for the IHSAA state meet on June 3 at Indiana University.
Mary Batz was the top finisher for BNL. Seeded second in the 400-meter dash, Batz crossed the line in fifth in 1:01.88. She was also 13th in the 200 in 27.55.
Other regional competitors for the Stars included Ellie Anderson (14th in the long jump at 14-9), Kayln Ritz (no height in the pole vault) and the 400 relay team (Rose Dusard, Lily Dusard, Tracey Hanners and Anderson were 14th in 53.25).
