BEDFORD – A 17-year-old male was arrested after a Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Lonnie Johnson responded to a family dispute on Monday, June 19th at 9:20 a.m. in the 300 block of Old US 50.
Sgt. Lonnie Johnson says the male had been involved in a verbal argument with a sibling, when he became violent, striking the sibling and causing injury.
Officers responded to similar calls multiple times in the past involving the same male juvenile.
Sgt. Johnson arrested the juvenile on a charge of battery.
