LAWRENCE COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces planned lane restrictions for U.S. 50 in Bedford.
Beginning on or around next Monday, July 17, crews will begin a project to resurface just over three miles of U.S. 50, beginning at State Road 37. As the project progresses through Bedford, periodic lane restrictions and lane shifts will be needed. These traffic changes will be needed to allow crews to perform road resurfacing, sidewalk installation, and traffic signal modifications.
Lane restrictions and lane shifts will occur as needed. The entire project is expected to last through the beginning of June of 2024. All work is weather dependent.
