SALEM – Washington County Sheriff Brent Miller and his staff congratulated Tammy Shanks on her recent retirement from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.
The Sheriff’s Department recently held a celebration party for Shanks and recognized her 20 years of service to the citizens of Washington County. Shanks started her career as a dispatcher for the sheriff’s department and was later promoted to the position of head dispatcher.
“Tammy was a dedicated public servant and will be greatly missed by her co-workers. Good luck to Tammy on her retirement adventures,” added Sheriff Miller.
