BEDFORD – The resignations of two Bedford Police Department officers, Major Jesse Crane and Officer Robert Looney, were brought before the Bedford City Board of Works and succinctly approved yesterday, July 17.
Officer Robert Looney, who has been with the Bedford Police Department for 5 years, has resigned and will be taking a good chunk of experience with him when he leaves. Looney has been an asset and will be missed by the department.
Major Jesse Crane has been with the department for 10 years, and with his resignation, will be moving on to other positions in the force outside of Bedford. He takes with him experience and skill that will be missed, as well as K9 Max, his partner for 8 years. The dog is retiring from service and Jesse Crane has undertaken his care moving forward.
