Woman steals customer’s debit information

BEDFORD – A Bedford woman was arrested after she allegedly used a woman’s debit card information to treat herself to a drink at Starbucks and send herself money.

The woman told police she had gone to Hardee’s on July 3 to order two kids’ meals and left. The woman used her debit card to purchase the meals. Later that day the woman noticed a purchase had been made with her debit card for $10 at Starbucks and then $25 was sent to a woman named Kaliann on CashApp.

The woman told police she suspected an employee at Hardees had stolen her information.

Kali Enochs

Police went to Hardee’s and spoke to an employee, 26-year-old Kali Enochs. She denied making the charges. She then began crying and told police she “desperately needed money” and had made the transactions and treated herself to Starbucks. She told police she had taken a video of the front and back of the woman’s debit card on her cell phone.

The information was forwarded to the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office and a warrant was issued for Enoch on charges of theft and fraud.
