George Robert Troxel, 24, of Mitchell, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023.
Born June 8, 1999, in Crossville, Tennessee, he was the son of George Troxel and Carolyn (Robinson) Troxel.
George worked as a cook at Wing & Rings in Bedford. He enjoyed doing anything a country boy would do, including fishing, four-wheeling, and fixing things.
Surviving are his mother, Carolyn Troxel of Crossville, Tennessee; father, George Troxel of Mitchell; step-mother, Riann Donnell of Mitchell; son, Max Troxel of Mitchell; brothers, Isaac Moles of Crossville, Tennessee, and Jacob Moles of Crossville, Tennessee; uncles, Mike Troxel of Albany, Kentucky, Tony (Libby) Troxel of Albany Kentucky, and Ryan (Kellyn) Troxel of Albany, Kentucky; aunts, Kim Grooms of Peebles, Ohio and Patty Troxel of Albany, Kentucky; several cousins; and Grandma Pat.
His grandparents, Bob and Roma Troxel, and Lonnie Robinson; and aunt, Tammy Hall, preceded him in death.
Cremation has been chosen. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 3, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
