Charles Dwayne Riggs, 48, of Mitchell, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Paoli Health and Living Community.
Born March 19, 1975, in Bedford, he was the son of Charles Wayne Riggs and Helen (Bell) Sharpe.
Charles worked in construction and was a member of UA Local 421 Laborer’s Union. He enjoyed dancing, cooking, and being around family. Charles could always make people laugh. He was willing to help anyone.
Surviving are his children, Alec Riggs of Bedford, Breanna Riggs of Bedford, and Hannah Riggs of Bedford; sister, Christine Riggs of Mitchell; mother, Helen Sharpe of Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews.
His father preceded him in death.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 7, at Mitchell Cemetery with Pastor Johnnie Herald officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the cemetery.
