BEDFORD – On Thursday, August 3, a Spencer man was sentenced to the Indiana Department of Correction by Lawrence Superior Court II Judge Robert Cline after failing to comply with the terms of his probation.
Joshua R. Turpin, 29, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, on June 29, 2023, as a part of a negotiated plea agreement with the State of Indiana. He was originally sentenced to 910 days, with time served, and the remainder of his sentence suspended. He was ordered to serve 545 days on supervised probation in exchange for his guilty plea.
