BEDFORD – A Medora teen was arrested after a Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputy stopped her vehicle early Wednesday morning for false or fictitious registration.
Around 12:30 a.m., Officer Andrew Tillett conducted the traffic stop at Boyd Lane and Stars Boulevard.
During the course of the stop, Officer Tillett had reason to ask the driver, 19-year-old Abigail Johnson, of Medora, for consent to search the vehicle. She allowed that search.
Officer Tillett located a small amount of both methamphetamine and heroin/fentanyl.
Johnson was arrested on charges of possession of meth and possession of a narcotic drug.
