In August, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service will announce a Notice of Funding Opportunity of up to $150 million for projects to support the participation of underserved and small-acreage forest landowners in emerging private markets for climate mitigation and forest resilience. This funding is made available through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which provides a total of $450 million for forest landowner assistance.
