SCOTTSBURG – Scottsburg won a key third set for momentum while conquering Bedford North Lawrence in four sets during high school volleyball action on Tuesday night.
The Warriors (6-7) posted a 25-20, 25-27, 25-21, 25-18 triumph as the Stars slipped to 4-6.
“We let too many balls hit the floor on defense tonight,” BNL coach Whitney Carroll said. “We have to get an ‘all out’ mentality. We’re not giving 110 percent on every ball. We show really great moments and have the ability to get the job done, we just have to decide to do it.”
Camryn Anderson paced BNL with 15 kills, Sammie Gratzer totaled 14 kills, Isabelle Harding added 4 kills and 2 blocks, and Sara Williams had 4 blocks.
BNL will host Floyd Central on Thursday.
