MITCHELL – Gibson Glassco, Mitchell High School Senior and son of TJ and Amy Glassco, has been named the Genius Jock for the month of September, presented by Pritchett Brothers Construction.
Gibson is a member of the S.A.D.D. Champions Together National Honor Society, and along with his Volunteering at Mitchell High School Baseball camp, has also played on the baseball team for 4 years, football for one year, and soccer for another four.
He was awarded the Academic All-State for Soccer in 2022.
Juggling academics with sports and community involvement can be a true challenge, but it’s one at which Gibson excels. He boasts a grand GPA of 4.057 in his studies at MHS despite the multitude of extracurriculars.
His plans for excellence and community involvement continue with his goals of attending Indiana University to become a Traveling Nurse.
