SEYMOUR – The Boys & Girls Club of Seymour is seeking donations of nonperishable food to stock the food boxes around the city.
Join the club in celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service by donating canned goods and other nonperishable items.
Nonperishable food donations in jars, cans, and packets will be accepted from January 8 until January 12. Sauces, soups, beans, vegetables in cans or jars, honey, peanut butter, boxed juices, long-life milk, coconut cream, and fish in oil are recommended. Pop-tab cans are preferred.
Donations may be dropped off at the club at 950 North O’Brien Street in Seymour.
