GREENE-SULLIVAN STATE FOREST – Indiana Conservation Officers in District Five organized the recovery of a vehicle from a lake in the Greene-Sullivan State Forest on Saturday.
The incident occurred as an accident; thankfully, the driver was not injured.
Officers utilized sonar equipment to locate and mark the vehicle. ICO SCUBA divers Max Winchell and Luke Tincher had the vehicle hooked to the tow truck within minutes of being underwater.
Assisting agencies include the IDNR Division of Forestry, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department, and Recovery Plus Towing.
