MITCHELL – Kirby Stailey will perform a 90s Country Concert at the Mitchell Opera House on Saturday, January 20, at 7:00 p.m.
Kirby was born and raised in Southern Indiana and began singing in church at 5. From that point on, music held a special place in his life. During his youth, he played bass and acoustic guitar and sang lead vocals in various bands, including heavy metal, blues, rock and roll, and country. He now performs Country-Gospel, Contemporary Christian, and Modern Country.
Kirby now resides in Orange County, Indiana, and writes and sings as much as ever.
He is a former local winner and State finalist of the Colgate Country Showdown and was a former Regional Finalist on the hit TV show “The Voice.” He has done live performances and interviews on numerous radio and TV stations. Kirby performs at nearly 100 live events per year throughout Indiana.
The opening for Kirby Stailey is Zaden Cave.
Tickets to see Kirby Stailey and Zaden Cave are $15 for adults and $8 for kids 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased with cash or check at Mitchell ACE Hardware, the ticket booth on the night of the event, or at mitchelloperahouse.com. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
Mitchell Opera House is handicap accessible. Food and drinks are not permitted in the auditorium. All seating is first come, first served.
