MONROE CO. – Due to the forecasted dangerously cold temperatures coming for the next week, the Monroe County Emergency Management Agency will be opening up Warming Stations around Monroe County.
The Warming Stations will be open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday, January 13, until Saturday, January 20.
These warming stations will allow residents who may not have access to adequate heating to warm up for a short period. No food, water, sleeping areas, or showers will be available at the stations.
