FRENCH LICK – A fire destroyed a French Lick home early Sunday morning as firefighters braved brutal cold temperatures while battling flames.
The fire was reported at around 5:30 a.m. near Michigan Street. French Lick Fire Department arrived on the scene quickly. Firefighters with Springs Valley Fire Territory, Orange County Rural District I, and Paoli Fire & Rescue were assisting in battling the blaze.

Orange County EMS was dispatched to the scene after a report a firefighter was injured.
