BEDFORD – On Tuesday, the Lawrence County Commissioners signed an agreement with Purdue Extension Lawrence County to continue their services.
Ophelia Davis presented the contract.
The extension officer provides many services to the county, including 4-H Youth Development, leadership and community development, agriculture and natural resources, and health and human services.
The total fee the county will pay is $128,805.
The fee will fund three county educators. Each educator will have an individual program area focus.
The contract will expire on December 31, 2024.
