INDIANA – Secretary of State Diego Morales continues to visit several counties to hand-deliver election improvement grants. So far this week, Secretary Morales has made stops in the following counties: Jackson, Bartholomew, Tippecanoe, and Boone. Earlier in the month, he visited Orange and Washington County.
On Thursday, he will visit Decatur, Rush, and Hancock Counties.
More than 60 Indiana counties will receive Federal Help America Vote Act grant dollars for local election improvement and security efforts. Statewide grants are valued at approximately two million dollars.
Including Thursday’s visits, the Secretary will have visited nearly 40 counties since the start of the year.
“These grants will help ensure our local counties are prepared for the 2024 elections quickly approaching. Each county utilizes these funds for its specific election improvement needs. I will never get tired of telling our county clerks thank you for their commitment to the Hoosier state,” said Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales.
