BEDFORD – The Bedford Redevelopment Commission met Tuesday at the Stonegate Arts and Education Center.
First on the agenda was the election of officers for 2024, and the results were as follows:
- President- Ryan Griffith
- Vice President- Judy Carlisle
- Secretary- Shea Hooten
Other items on the agenda were:
- A request to accept and approve payment to Lochmuller Group for $10,766.16. The motion passed to approve the payment.
- Resolution 1-2024 approves pledging certain tax increment revenues to fund Spider Creek lift station sewer improvements. The $2 million request was approved.
- Presentation of approval for funding the John Williams Boulevard and Beech Street Roundabout. $199,460 was approved as the city’s 10% portion of a 90/10 match.
