OAKLAND CITY – Oakland City University, the title sponsor of Faith Night at the
Thunderbolts, will give away three $12,000 scholarships at the Evansville Thunderbolts hockey game on
Friday, January 27th.
Scholarship applicants submitted their applications via a QR Code advertised by OCU and the Thunderbolts. The three $12,000 scholarship winners are:
Faith Lindsey – Bonneville, IN – Boonville High School
Nolan Hitz – Newburgh, IN – Castle High School
Adrian Fox – Oakland City, IN – Wood Memorial High School
Oakland City University President Dr. Ron Dempsey will make the presentations during Friday night’s
game. “We enjoy our continued relationship with the Thunderbolts. Faith Night is near and dear to our
hearts as we award students who want to extend their academics to the next level and become Mighty
Oaks, ” said Dempsey.
The first 1,000 fans will get an OCU-branded hockey puck. Contemporary Christian band Level Ground will perform before the first drop of the puck between the Thunderbolts and the Birmingham Bulls
There will also be a chance to win Lauren Daigle concert tickets and much more. Doors open for the season
ticket holders at 6:00 and 6:15 for non-season ticket holders.
