BEDFORD – Bedford Fire Department firefighters are battling a house fire on South I Street near 26th Street.
Extra manpower from other shifts was requested to the scene. Firefighters from all three stations responded to the blaze Sunday evening.
The house was engulfed in flames.
No information was available at this time. According to Bedford Fire Department Chief Luke Pinnick, the State Fire Marshal’s Office investigator will be on the scene Monday to investigate the cause of the fire.
