WASHINGTON – Washington Police arrested 38-year-old Abel Dubon Castillo on Sunday on a charge of murder.
He is also facing two counts of attempted murder, burglary, and intimidation with a deadly weapon.
Castillo was arrested after he was released from an Indianapolis hospital on Sunday.
On Sunday, February 5th, Washington Police officers were called to the 1800 block of McCormick Avenue following a 911 call reporting a disturbance with a handgun just after 10:50 p.m.
Police arrived to find 58-year-old Aracely Torres dead. Police found 57-year-old Concepcion Rodriguez Martinez and 35-year-old Yarely Santiago Torres were injured.
Dubon Castillo was hospitalized as well from injuries sustained during the incident.
Washington Police maintained a 24-hour watch within the hospital to ensure Dubon Castillo was taken into custody without incident.
