BEDFORD – A Sellersburg man was arrested after Indiana State Police Trooper Jesse Crane stopped him for speeding on Saturday, February 10, at 9:29 p.m. on State Road 37 and Trogden Lane.
The driver of the 2018 white Chevrolet, 61-year-old Jeffrey Humphrey, was captured on radar doing 80 miles per hour.
Trooper Crane said Humphrey of Sellerburg had slurred speech, glassy, bloodshot eyes, and smelled of alcohol.
He blew a 0.192 on a breathalyzer. He was transported to IU Health Bedford Hospital for a blood draw.
Humphrey was issued a citation for speeding and arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and OWI endangerment.
