BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Community Foundation is now accepting online applications for the 2024 Open Grant Cycle. $100,000 will be available for Boost and Impact Grants, which fund charitable programs and projects that serve the residents of Lawrence County.
Over $30,000 is also available for programs and projects that benefit specific causes, such as parks, disadvantaged children, and senior citizens.
The 2023 Open Grant Cycle awarded thirty-four grants totaling $129,250 to Lawrence County groups and agencies, including Mitchell Community Schools, Junior Stars Football Program, Lawrence County 4-H Council’s Horse and Pony Club, Superior STEAM, and Hope Resource Center.

First-time Grantseekers must register and be approved to apply. Applications must be submitted before 11:59 p.m. on April 16, 2024, to be considered for funding.
Non-profit organizations recognized by the IRS as having 501(c)(3) status, educational institutions, and governmental entities are eligible to apply.
