WASHINGTON – Washington Police arrested a man Thursday on charges of rape and intimidation with a deadly weapon.
On February 29, 2024, Detectives with the Washington Police Department were requested to investigate a sexual assault. As a result of that investigation, 42-year-old Benjamin Hise was arrested on charges of rape and intimidation with a deadly weapon.
Officers reported seizing multiple firearms during the investigation.
Hise is being held without bond in the Daviess County Security Center.
Assisting were deputies with theDaviess County Sheriff’s Office and Hope’s Voice.
