The Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s 60th Annual Indiana HR Conference and Expo

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s 60th Annual Indiana HR Conference and Expo in May offers various in-depth workshops and sessions for the modern HR professional. Top industry services and products also will be showcased at the entire market expo.

The three-day program, sponsored by Frost Brown Todd, will be held from April 30 to May 2 at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis.

The morning keynote on May 1 will feature workforce thought leader Cara Silletto of Magnet Culture discussing how to reduce “us vs. them” conflicts in the workplace. The closing keynote that day will be HRD CEO Andrea Butcher, who will speak on HR’s role in partnering with executive teams to move businesses forward.

Also on the agenda are HR technology trends, making meetings more culturally competent and inclusive, empowering women of color to rise in leadership, enhancing empathy in the workplace, artificial intelligence for the HR professional, navigating the line between inclusivity and workplace hostility, reasonable accommodations under the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, and much more.

The 2024 Ogletree Deakins Human Resources Professional of the Year Award also will be presented during a luncheon awards presentation on May 2. All full-time HR practitioners in Indiana who have contributed significantly to their organizations through the past year were eligible for nomination (deadline is March 8). During the luncheon, Jason Cochran, a psychologist, consultant and futurist at humanworks8 will provide insights from over 250 global thought leaders on the future of work.
