BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Commissioners approved placing an ambulance in Mitchell
According to Emergency Management Director Valerie Luchauer, the ambulance will be placed temporarily at Mitchell Manor.
“Commissioner Dustin Gabhart and I worked diligently to find a solution, and Mitchell Manor generously agreed to assist,” added Luchauer. “This is a temporary solution. We are looking at other options to place an ambulance permanently in Mitchell.”
The ambulance will be stationed at Mitchell Manor at no cost. It will be there Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the busiest time for running.
