STATEHOUSE – State Sen. Eric Koch (R-Bedford) welcomed the following local students who served as Senate pages in February to the Statehouse.
Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor, and interacting with their state senator.
“The Senate Page Program is a great way for students to learn about state government beyond the classroom,” Koch said. “I always enjoy meeting pages from my district, and I encourage all students to participate in this unique learning opportunity.”
Students in grades 6 through 12 participate in the page program during the legislative session on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
