Alma “Carol” Spaulding, 81, of Springville, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2024 at her
son’s house. Born on April 29, 1942, she was the daughter of Robert E. and Alma (Godsey)
Bottorff.
Carol has worked for JayC, Kroger, and the Center for Women’s Ministry since 2005. She
received an associate degree in business from Ivy Tech Community College. She was a member
of First Baptist Church in Bedford, where she worked with the Stephen’s Ministry.
Carol is survived by one son, James (Joanne) Spaulding; seven grandchildren, Susan Bridges, Thomas Spaulding, Teresa Ritchison, John David Spaulding, Jessica Spaulding, Matthew Spaulding, and Phillip Spaulding; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother and his wife, Bob and Mary Janice Bottorff; and two nephews, Tim Bottorff and Matt Bottorff.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents and one son, John Spaulding.
Graveside services will be held for Carol at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Beech Grove
Cemetery, with Pastor Jason Filler and Pastor Lee Brown officiating.
