INDIANA – A potent storm system will bring 36 hours of gusty to windy conditions starting Monday.
A wind advisory goes into effect at 5:00 a.m. Monday and will remain in effect until 5:00 a.m. Tuesday. Wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour could occur.
There is a chance for steady or brief heavy rain on Monday before a few thunderstorms on Tuesday. Heavy downpours are expected to begin around 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday.
For most locations, expect wind gusts up to 30-40 miles per hour and rainfall of around 0.50 inches.
After some morning showers and downpours, some low-lying areas could experience ponding water. So keep that in mind on your Tuesday morning commute. But the rest of the day should be drier as those winds taper off.
Wednesday will be cool, but temperatures will gradually warm up going into the weekend. Later in the week, sunshine will dominate. As for Easter, it’s looking warm, but there could be some shower activity.
