INDIANA- Purdue University Extension and partners are bringing knowledge of prescribed fires to anyone who wishes to attend their series on controlled burns.
“We are informing the public of the importance of prescribed fires in the ecology of the area,” said Liz Jackson, Executive Director of the Indiana Forestry and Woodland Owners Association.
The event is $10 on April 11 and 18 and includes dinner. The Griffey Lake Field Tour on April 13 is $5 and has an additional dinner option for $10.
