VIGO COUNTY- The Indiana Department of Transportation announces two temporary bridge closures on the S.R. 246 bridge over Turman Creek about 3/4 mile west of U.S. 41 in Vigo County.
Crews will close the bridges beginning on or after Wednesday, April 10, for rehabilitation and maintenance work.
Work is expected to continue until late October but is weather permitting and subject to change.
The official detour around the closure is from U.S. 41 to S.R. 48 to S.R. 63.
INDOT encourages all drivers to seek an alternate route around the area.
