JACKSON CO. — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Force Construction Company plans to begin a bridge rehabilitation project along US 50 over Heddy Run on or after Monday, April 15, in Seymour.
Work will occur along US 50 just west of Seymour between County Road 600 East and Schleter Road. Crews plan to conduct lane width restrictions that, weather permitting, are expected to remain in place through late June. Signage will be placed in the area before the start of construction.
This work is part of a $2.2 million contract awarded to Force Construction in January 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, be cautious, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
