SCOTT CO. — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Enneking Pressure Cleaning, Inc. plans to reduce State Road 3 to one lane over Strucker Creek and Hog Creek on or after Monday, April 22, to begin bridge rehabilitation work in Scott County.
Work will occur between State Road 56 and State Road 356, east of Scottsburg. Temporary traffic signals will be utilized while work is in progress. Flagging operations will be used for additional maintenance work in the area following the completion of bridge work. Crews will begin to place signage in the area before construction. Temporary traffic signals are expected to be utilized for up to 10 days, with overall work expected to be complete by late July, weather permitting.
This project is part of a contract awarded to Enneking Pressure Cleaning in January 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, be cautious, and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
