BEDFORD – Gubernatorial candidate Eric Doden visited Bedford for another campaign stop in his Faith, Vision, Action Tour. The event was held on Thursday, April 25th at Base Camp Country Real Estate.
Eric Doden focused on his plan for small towns and then held a question-and-answer session for those in attendance. The video below captures these questions.
Afterward, Doden and his wife stayed an hour to greet people, take pictures, and answer more personal questions.
“We just love Bedford. You guys have a beautiful town.” Doden said. It is worth noting that this is Doden’s second time in Bedford this week; he also attended the Lawrence County Lincoln Day Dinner on Saturday, April 20th.
Sheriff Greg Day, Representative Chris May, Chase Cummings of the Young Republicans, and April Haskett of Hope Resource Center attended.
Doden asked three things of the people in attendance. He asked that we roll up our sleeves and put our faith to work. Secondly, he explained that there is a lot of fear in politics, and he asked that we don’t have fear. He then asked us to pray for him that they stay safe as he travels, for wisdom, and to pray that they will have a servant’s heart.
