SEYMOUR – Bedford North Lawrence won the Hoosier Hills Conference title during Unified track action on Saturday.
The Stars won their sixth straight crown with 121 points, followed by Floyd Central (92) and Seymour (89).
Winners for BNL included Jaxon Donnell (12.72 in the boys 100 meter dash), Alex Johnson (15-5 in the boys long jump), Trace Walters (40-7 in the boys shot put), Tracey Hanners (14.71 in the girls 100), Elizabeth Barnett (1:35.42 in the girls 400), Zoe Shelton (12-11 in the girls long jump), Alex Nubbie (22-6 in the girls shot put), the girls 400 relay and the boys 400 relay.
“I am very proud of the kids,” BNL coach Mike Branam said. “To win the conference meet and have so many kids place high is encouraging for the remainder of the year. This is a real confidence booster.”
BNL will face Bloomington South and Edgewood on Thursday.
