BLOOMINGTON – Bedford North Lawrence finished in a deadlock with Bloomington North during boys high school golf action at Cascades on Tuesday.
The Cougars and Stars both posted team scores of 327, followed by Edgewood (344) and Martinsville (371).
Tyler Bellush paced the Stars with a 4-over 76 while Drew McKee posted 78. Parker Foddrill (84) and Coleson Stiles (89) capped the scoring for BNL.
“I’m happy that we were able to post a pretty good score on our sectional course,” BNL coach Trey Turner said. “There are some strategy things that we will discuss, as far as clubs off tees and certain lines to take, so it was good to have that experience.
“I’m proud of the way we battled. Some of the guys got off to a rough start, but they didn’t put their heads down. They kept at it and ended up finding a feel that helped them to turn the round around.”
BNL will host Brownstown and Edgewood on Thursday at Otis Park.
