BEDFORD—Vertical Home Health Care, title sponsor of this year’s Senior Fair, which is hosted by Southern Indiana’s Classic Hits 105.5, 102.5 LiteFm, and 1340 WBIW, is dedicated to serving our community’s elderly. Located at 1017 14th Street in Bedford, they are there to be an extended family when you need it most.
Medical care can be complicated and daunting. Vertical’s Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) will navigate the patient experience with medication reminders and exercises to follow a path to healing. “It’s rewarding to know that there are people who can stay in their homes and not go to a facility,” said Melissa Bell, HR manager for Vertical Home Health. Each patient brings unique medical challenges, and caregivers will deliver a custom solution for each patient. Home Health services may include:
- Alzheimer’s and Dementia care
- Medical setups
- RN case management
- Medication reminders
- Range of Motion exercises
- Fall prevention
- Bathing assistance
One way Vertical Home Health uniquely cares for its clients is by hiring family members to administer care. Not only can you stay in the comfort of home, but you can also have a friend or a family member hired to be your caregiver. This provides security and peace of mind for those being cared for.
Vertical Home Care delivers a holistic approach to patient care. In addition to monitoring medical care, their caregivers also address the personal needs of patients. Home care services may include:
- Dressing, grooming, bathing assistance
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Companionship
Vertical Home Health’s goal is to allow patients to focus on recovery and healing while remaining in their homes where they find the most comfort.
The most rewarding part of home health care? “Meeting people coming to us for help and guiding them through the process to meet their needs,” said Laura Cummings, Intake Coordinator at Vertical. Whether its nursing or home care services, Vertical Home Health has the staff, the know-how, and the compassion to take care of you or a loved one.
