INDIANA – The Indiana Energy Assistance Program (EAP) application deadline is approaching. This program helps households pay their electricity and heating bills and avoid shutoffs.
Households that make 60% of the state median income (60 SMI) or less are encouraged to apply for EAP before 5 p.m. EST May 20, 2024.
This website provides a detailed chart of income eligibility requirements, a list of local service providers, and a link to the online application. If a household does not have internet access, it can call 2-1-1 and ask to be connected to the EAP local service provider in its area.
