DUBOIS CO – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 64 in Dubois County.
On or around Tuesday, May 28, crews will begin daily road closures on State Road 64 in Dubois County near Birdseye. These daily road closures will occur between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. between State Road 162 and State Road 145. During this project, crews will perform a chip seal operation to extend the life of the roadway. Depending on the weather, work is expected to take two weeks to complete.
The official detour for this closure is State Road 162 to I-64 to State Road 37 to State Road 64. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
