Bedford man arrested on felony charges of child molesting

BEDFORD – On Monday, June 24, Indiana State Police Detectives from the Bloomington Post arrested a Bedford man on charges related to child molestation.

Detectives identified the suspect as Todd W. Dasenbrock, 46, of Bedford, and served an arrest warrant at his residence. He was detained without incident and transported to the Lawrence County Jail.

On December 15, 2023, Detectives from the Indiana State Police were notified by the Department of Child Services regarding an allegation of child molestation involving a female child victim, who at the time was 12 years old.

Detectives initiated an investigation and identified Dasenbrock as the suspect. Detectives also learned that Dasenbrock allegedly sexually molested the female child victim during a 2-3 year time period.

Detectives forwarded all case information to the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office, and an arrest warrant was issued. Dasenbrock is facing three counts of child molesting, Level 1 felonies, and one count of child molesting, a Level 4 felony.
