BEDFORD – The milling of city roads is scheduled to begin Wednesday, June 26, through Monday, July 1, for the following roads:
- June 26: Lincoln Avenue from 1st Street north to city limits towards Oolitic
- June 27: 6th Street from G Street to X Street
- June 28 & July 1: O Street from Lincoln Avenue to 16th Street
- P Street from 5th Street to 9th Street
16th Street from O Street to Brian Lane Way is still closed. Paving is scheduled to begin July 8 through July 16.
Residents are reminded there will be no street parking while milling and paving are done.
The schedule is dependent on weather conditions.
Work will be done daily from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The postal service and all emergency personnel have been notified of these closures. If you are aware of deliveries, please contact them and let them know of the closures. Please avoid these streets if possible.
City officials ask residents and motorists to be patient, cautious, and aware of heavy equipment in these areas.
Put your residential trash out as usual.
