MONROE CO. — The Indiana Department of Transportation is scheduled to increase the I-69 speed limit in Monroe County from mile marker 112 to mile marker 122 beginning on or after Thursday, June 27, near Bloomington.
The speed limit will increase from 55 mph to 65 mph. The increased speed limit is intended to help enhance safety and mobility by establishing consistency along the corridor.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, be cautious, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
