MONROE CO. – The Monroe County Government has hired a private contractor to help with tree debris pickup from residents within the county’s jurisdiction after the June 25th storm.
County Officials are encouraging residents who want their debris picked up and removed to place all tree and vegetation debris along the end of their property line, either on the curbside or near the edge, to allow the contractor easy access.
Officials urge the public not to put debris in the roadway, ditches, or sidewalks. The private contractor will be picking up the debris by township.
