BLOOMINGTON- The City of Bloomington Volunteer Network (CBVN) will host the 2024 City of Bloomington Volunteer Fair at Fernandez Plaza in front of City Hall on Aug. 24th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a rain date set for Aug. 31. The City of Bloomington Volunteer Fair will take place in conjunction with the Bloomington Community Farmers Market, which consistently brings a large and diverse group of shoppers together in downtown Bloomington.
The Volunteer Fair provides non-profits from Bloomington, Monroe County, and surrounding counties an opportunity to share their programs and needs with the community, find new volunteers, and network with other organization leaders. Residents can speak with organization representatives, have their questions answered, and find engaging ways to get involved in the community. Table registration is free, but space is limited. Registrations are open until Aug. 16 or until spaces are filled. Register for a table today!
The City of Bloomington Volunteer Network (CBVN) seeks to build a strong, healthy, and engaged community by connecting volunteers of all ages with opportunities to serve and providing resources to volunteers and agencies to develop creative and effective volunteer projects, programs, and partnerships. The CBVN aims to inspire, support, and celebrate volunteerism in our community.
