LAWRENCE COUNTY—The probability of severe weather in the area tonight is forcing several events at the Lawrence County Fair to be rescheduled.
The quads race, scheduled for tonight at 7:00 p.m., has been postponed to Saturday, July 13, at 7:00 p.m. Contact Dylan for event information at (812) 821-4495.
The sheep show that was scheduled today at 4:00 p.m. will now take place Thursday, July 11, at 2:30 p.m.
The Horse & Pony Contesting Show has been rescheduled for tomorrow, July 10, at 6:30 pm or immediately following the Beef Show, which is planned to take place at 4 p.m.
The exhibit hall, expo hall, and the rides will also be closed tonight.
Vendors will be open at will, but the board is encouraging them to stay home.
